Our Art Initiative

As the first hotel in Kuching to center on the theme of Art, The Waterfront Hotel aspires to be a platform for local budding and established artists to showcase their work and talents to a greater audience.

Be it fine arts, handicrafts, antiquities or even musical artists, Sarawak has a good share of creative individuals looking to show the world their creations and we hope to help others discover them.

Paintings from the Hotel’s private collection by these local artists are on display in various locations around the hotel. Guests can also visit the art exhibition at Level 4 by the Kilig Bar Lounge area where works of selected artists will be put up. These paintings will be made available for purchase and guests may contact our Front Desk for more information should they be interested. 

Among the notable artists which have partnered with the hotel are Ramsay Ong, Narong Daun, Chew Fang Chin, Nisa Addina (violinist) as well as other budding professionals.
